I worked on PES for PES built a reputation on being the underdog, the fan's favourite going up against the monolithic Fifa. And sure, Konami had global superstars signed up to promote the game. But for their 2014 release, I went back to what made PES truly unique - the game play. And with a new ball physics engine delivering even more realistic experience, reminding players why they loved the games was more relevant than ever. So, how do you make video all about a ball? Simple, you stick a Go Pro in it, get your super star footballers to have a game of kick about, and capture it all from the ball's POV.
