I put invisible people where no one could miss them.
And helped literally free two people from slavery.
There are 13,000 + modern slaves in the UK today. Invisible people working alongside every one of us. I was tasked by The National Crime Agency with bringing these people and their stories out of the darkness. To make the unseen – seen. Working with world-class photographer, Roy Carnegie, I oversaw the creation of 12 powerful images of Modern Slaves. These were displayed in city centres up and down the UK. The results were pretty amazing. As well as unmatched coverage, and double the amount of calls to the Modern Day Slavery helpline, two people identified themselves as modern slavers after seeing the campaign and have now been freed from their situation.
